BTTC Host a taster session

At the end of April, BTTC was pleased to welcome Y4 children from Bredon Hancock’s School to a table tennis ‘taster’ session at the village hall.  

For a novice, keeping the ball on the table is a formidable task of control, and so to get towards that end, most of the time was spent on hand/eye coordination activities – an important precursor to hitting with an opponent across a table. 

The children showed great improvement through the session and by the end were able to rally across the table with their tutor.
